Department: Operations

Report Directly to: HSSE and Operations Manager

Working in a remote, multidisciplinary team to improve workers’ health through culturally appropriate primary care. Reporting to the Administrator Manager, ensuring clinic cleanliness with sound judgment and flexibility, while using proper chemicals and supplies as per guidelines.

Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure daily cleanliness of all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings (excluding medical apparatus) within designated areas. Maintain sanitization of sanitary areas and keep all floor surfaces clean under the guidance of the clinical team.

• Empty waste bins and recycling receptacles in compliance with the Clinic Policy/Guideline and ensure that receptacles are kept clean and free of smell.

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors using the appropriate cleaning supplies.

• Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard-to-reach places.

• Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces and ensure they are free of streaks.

• Clean and disinfect rooms and ensure that soap and paper dispensers are well-stocked.

• Take inventory of cleaning supplies and materials and order more as needed.

• Inform the nominated Administration Manager of anything that is broken or not functioning correctly so that the issue is resolved promptly.

Educational & Experience

Professional/Academic Qualification

• Must be physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work each day.

• Must have good spoken English.

• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

• Possess a strong attention to detail.

• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.

• Capable of following instructions and learning new techniques.

• Strong time management skills to ensure all work is completed by the end of the shift

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Possessing the initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision.

Other requirements:

• Proof of Hepatitis B Immunity and COVID vaccination status.

• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.

• Medical Fitness Certificate for remote site work.
